Germany, Heer. A Heer Panzer Em/Nco’s Overseas Cap, By J. Schmatz & Co. Auction typical WWI period cross of(Heer Schiffchen fr Mnner der Panzertruppe). An extremely well preserved Heer Panzer EM NCOs overseas cap, constructed of black wool. The cap is fully surrounded by scalloped fold down side panels, secured in place at the peak with two pieces of machine stitching. It is flanked on each side by ventilation holes, both reinforced with zink eyelets. Hand stitched onto the peak of the cap is an insignia in the form of a black rayon backer bearing a
