Constructed of a field grey card stock binding with 52 paginated interior pages filled with handwritten, typewritten, and stamped entries, retaining a certified black and white studio portrait of Maiwald, measuring 10. 5 cm (w) x 14. 5 cm (h), demonstrating only minor signs of material fatigue, in extremely fine condition. Footnote: Paul Maiwald was born on 1 August 1901 and, too young to serve during the First World War, became
