All models are heat ready, which allows for an optional external heater. With the use of a heater, you can heat water up to 170 F which will help you maximize your extractor's cleaning by breaking the bonds between your carpet and the dirt embedded on it. By separating the heater and the extractor, your extractor will run cooler, extending the life of the pump
