Figures du monde. Océanie Its original Berlin-style binding andric Fonteneau (born in 1954) travels the world as a draftsman. Since the end of the 1980s, he has been capturing the scale, or rather the immensity, of the universe through a work that depicts itineraries, faces, and landscapes on a blank sheet of paper. The artist has been fascinated by geography, maps, and portolans since his inaugural piece, entitled La Chambre des cartes . In his works, he transcribes the meanders and twists of waterways, the
